GRAHAM MACDONALD has been BCCT Chairman since July 2010 and also Chairman of the BCCT Eastern Seaboard (ES) Group since 1998. He has been delighted to see membership on the ES grow to more than 60 companies. He has been on the main Board since 1999 and has been Vice Chairman since 2005. He always tries to advance the cause of the ES and continually promotes British business.
He is Managing Director of MBMG Group. He was also a co-founder of MBMG International Ltd in 1995. It was established as a professional research and advisory practice, giving advice to individuals, corporations and institutions throughout Asia. The company has now grown into a group companies that employs over 60 staff with 3 clients amount to USD165 million.
DANIEL PRUCE has been the Deputy Head of Mission at the British Embassy in Bangkok since August 2008. He is responsible for the effective operation of the Embassy and deputising for the Ambassador in his absence. The Embassy has a total of 160 staff (around 30 UK-based on overseas posting and around 130 locally employed). It includes one of the busiest consular operations in the world, a growing UKBA visa section and a very active UKTI commercial section.
Before that he worked in the Europe Directorate of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) in London, heading the department that dealt with internal EU issues, including economic reform and the EU’s institutions. He was also responsible for strategic communications on the EU, including the Lisbon Treaty.

There are many events (eg luncheons, breakfast briefings and dinners) that require BCCT to give guaranteed numbers of attendees to the venue. If those who have booked fail to attend the venue invariably still charges the BCCT. As a result, BCCT’s policy in these situations is to invoice no-shows (unless there are exceptional circumstances).
